I was shocked to find out that Barb had passed. I was also a best friend, and went to school from elementary through high school with her. I remember her going away to Bowling Green as I went off to the University of Akron. The last time I saw her was after her first child was very young and we had cheese fondue at her home in Vermillion. She was married to Fred Turner then. I had searched many, many times for her after, but gave up about 13 years ago. Did not have any idea of where she went. She was a great friend and left a positive impact on my life. We had so many great and laughable moments together, too many to count. For that I will always be greatful! She touched my heart in more ways than she knew, and I hope to share those when I see her next. I am so glad that I am still able to share these words.

A year gone by, but never forgotten. Miss you so much. This site will be inactive/off-line soon - sometimes it feels like the only way (except to pray) to talk to you. Whitney just arrived, sing a song with her.

I am so sorry for your loss. I am stunned and so very sad to hear of Barb's passing. I have been wondering how and where Barb was. Barb and I were best friends in school. She was a great person and friend. I have many fond memories of our friendship. She was a truly unique person, one of many qualities I loved about her. Unbelievably just the other day I came across an old letter from her along with a picture she sent me of her with her beautiful daughters, Robin and Molly. I remember her whole family, all her sisters. God Bless all of you. You are in my prayers.
