Bonnie Aslaksen Obituary

SHEFFIELD LAKE – Bonnie Jean Aslaksen (nee Bill), 65, of Sheffield Lake, passed away at St. John Medical Center on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 following a lengthy illness. Bonnie was born on October 4, 1951 in Cleveland. She taught everyone something, gave everyone a nickname, was an awesome mother to everyone, and loved her grandkids. Bonnie is survived by her husband of 47 years, Dale; daughters Angie Cole, Sara Aslaksen, and honorary daughter Deanna Rider; grandchildren Cody, Taylor, Austin, Trent, Amelia, and Garrett; sister Gail Viancourt; and brother Gary Bill. She was preceded in death by her son Dale "Spank" Aslaksen, her brother Bob, and her parents Edward and Mildred Bill (nee Schlatterbeck). Friends may call at the Busch Funeral Home, 32000 Detroit Rd., Avon on Saturday, March 4 from 11am to 1pm. Memorial service will follow visitation at the funeral home at 1pm. My love to all the family. My heart and prayers are with you all today. I loved Bonnie like a sister and will always think of her that way. We all, as a family, went through some difficult times but we all loved each other and depended on each other. She was a very beautiful and special person and will always remain in my heart.
