A parishioner of Nativity BVM Catholic Church in Lorain, Carol enjoyed baking and was well known for her pineapple pie and epic pitzels. Her favorite time was spent enjoying her extended family. She is survived by her mother Eleanor Romes, sister Barbara Grasso, and brothers Richard Romes, Robert Romes (Cheryl), and Dave Romes (Ginger) as well as sister-in-law Debby Romes Additional survivors include six nieces, one nephew, seven great nieces, and two great nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her husband Larry in 1997, and by her father Robert S. Romes.
