Christine Pozega Obituary
Christine was born in Lorain, August 20, 1964. She was a 1982 graduate of Lorain High School. Christine was a homemaker who wrote poetry and joined the Spiritual Writing Workshop. She was also a Board of Elections poll worker. At her passing, she was a donor to LifeBank.
Christine was a member of First Lutheran Church and the church's Altar Guild in Lorain. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Stars, Day Chapter #479, Lorain.
Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Wayne, sons Adam Irizarry and Michael Pozega, both of Vermilion, daughters Samantha and Elizabeth Pozega, both of Lorain, grandsons Julian and Adam Jr., both of Vermilion, mother Theodora "Terry" Douglass of Amherst, and her brother and sister-in-law Gerald "Gary" and Donna Kurtz of Richmond, Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her father Gordon Douglass and by her maternal grandparents Ted and Irene Kish.
Funeral Services to be held Saturday, March 4, 2017, with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Order of the Eastern Star service at 2:00 p.m. Church services immediately following with Pastor Jimmy Madsen officiating at Church of the Redeemer, 647 Reid Avenue, Lorain.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Christine Pozega at First Federal Savings Bank of Lorain.
Arrangements entrusted to the Andras Crematory & Funeral Home, Lorain.
