Dave Meyers

Dave Meyers, 67, passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Mercy New Life Hospice in Lorain, OH.Dave was born in Lorain on February 21, 1954 to his loving parents, Neil and Betty (nee Armstrong) Meyers. He was a graduate of Admiral King in 1972 and earned his Masters Degree from Baldwin Wallace College. He married the love of his life, Debra (nee Pavelschak) Meyers on September 4, 1976. He worked in various jobs over the years from owning his own computer company, American Greetings, Elyria Methodist Home, the Federal Reserves in Cleveland, and at Oberlin College. Dave was a member of the Croation Club, the Knights of Columbus and he enjoyed camping and golfing.Dave was preceded in death by his father, Neil Meyers; and his brother, Kenneth Meyers.He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Debbie Meyers; mother, Betty Meyers; brother, Jeff (Jan) Meyers; and many nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2150 Broadway, Lorain (440) 244-1961 on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 30, 2021 at the funeral home, Pastor Rosalina Rivera, officiating.
