David Hritsko Obituary

David Douglas Hritsko, age 56, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2021 from complications of leukemia. David was born on April 24, 1965 to Robert and Eleonore Hritsko. He was a 1983 graduate of Admiral King High School and a graduate of The Ohio State University in 1987.He had worked as a Production Manager at Ford Motor Company Lorain, US Steel Lorain, Goodrich Cleveland, BASF Elyria, and Nordson in Amherst.Dave was a big Ohio State and Cleveland sports fan. He enjoyed watching his son Ryan play soccer, football, and basketball.He is survived by his wife, Jill (nee Reposky); son, Ryan; mother, Eleonore; sister, Susan (Paul) Urbanik, of Amherst; brother, Randy of Florida; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.Dave was preceded in death by his father, Robert Hritsko Sr. ; brother, Robert Hritsko Jr.; and grandparents, Peter and Anna Hritsko.The family will receive friends on Monday, May 17, 2021 from 4:00- 8:00 p.m. in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 18th. at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral center, officiated by the Very Reverend Father Basil Stoyka. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the funeral home will be following specific guidelines to ensure the safety of all visitors. We ask that you enter through our main entrance of the funeral center, please pay your respects to the family, and exit through our gathering center door. Face coverings are required, limited seating will be provided for the service to ensure that a six feet separation is maintained.Online condolences may be left for the family at www.dovinreberjones.com
