Our condolences to Catherine and family. Jim was a good friend for many years. I was on the OSP during part of his 12 1/2 years with the Patrol. I was assigned to the Painesville Post in 1963 just after Jim got transferred to the Norwalk Post. I worked with him at U.S. Steel Security and also during his later Law Enforcement Career. As most everybody knew Jim had quite a few "Nicknames" and I believe I was responsible for a couple. Whenever we got together or talked on the Phone we always had a good time and shared a few laughs. He was a Great American Patriot and Proud American Veteran. He definitely served his country well. We will miss him and his humor.

Dear Kay & Family, We are all so deeply saddened, by Jim's passing. He was not only a great friend, but mentor, to me as well. I will always have very fond memories, working with him at Post 39 (Norwalk).. Our last face to face was at the cabin, in Tuscarwus County. We complimented each other by saying, " you look the same as you always did, you old fart" !! He never lacked for a sense of humor. May the Good Lord Bless You All and rest his soul in peace !!! J. R., Gladys & family
