Janet Mayhew Obituary
She was born October 3, 1935 in Livingston, IL to the former Frank and Antonio (Berlisk) Lustek.
Janet was a nurse by profession for over 30 years and enjoyed gardening in her spare time. A member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, she was a devoted contributor to many catholic charities and others close to her heart.
She is survived by her son, James Mayhew; daughter, Linda Essig; brother, Richard Lustek; sisters, Virginia Zybly and Judy Daniel; grandson, Anthony (Megan) Essig; great granddaughters, Abigail and Lillian Essig and former husband, William C. Mayhew.
Memorial Mass, 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 18, 2016, St. Mary's Church, Lorain, with a luncheon to follow.
In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to St. Mary's Catholic Church, Lorain.
Arrangements under the direction of the Walter A. Frey Funeral Home.

So sorry to hear of Jan's passing. I worked with her 30 years ago when I was an Aide at Anchor Lodge. She gave me a glass Angel ornament one Christmas, I have hung it on my tree every year and smile as I remember Jan and her thoughtfulness. She was a very kind lady. May you find comfort, strength, and peace during this time of loss and sorrow.
