John Barrows Obituary
Weston - John "Jack" Henry Barrows, 87, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Born to Vincent and Theresa (Bury) Barrows on January 15, 1931. Served honorably in the United States Army.
Jack was a member of the Antique Car Club and was a loyal fan of the Chicago Bears. He was a skilled carpenter, loved to read and was quite the jokester. He especially enjoyed attending the Concerts on the Square in Downtown Wausau.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Ann; and sisters, Joanne (Chester) Chase and Eilene Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers Leon and Robert.
Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Brainard Funeral Home - Everest Chapel, 5712 Memorial Court, Weston. The Rev. Louis Britto will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at the Funeral Home. Private Burial with Military Honors performed by the American Legion Montgomery Plant Dudley Post 10 will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, Wausau.
