I cant believe it's almost a year. We miss you Mr. Rupert. I'll always remember your smile. Everytime I saw you ( which was a lot because we were neighbors) you were happy and smiling. You were always so kind and thinking of everyone. My son still asks me quite frequently if you are riding your John Deere in heaven. RIP.

Sending my deepest condolences to the family of John Rupert. In the nearly 30 years of being acquainted with John I always found him to be a devoted husband and proud father. He will be greatly missed by the many lives he touched.

Dear Rupert Family,Our sympathies for your loss. Johnny Rupert was one of Dad's favorite basketball players of all time, being a starter on the 1964 Delphos St. John's team, arguably one of his best teams ever. Dad admired Johnny's toughness, work ethic, smarts, and warm sense of humor. Part of our family folklore is a memory from the mid-1960's of a cold evening during a several day power outage caused by snow or a tornado. We were delighted when Johnny stopped over. We gave him a blanket and he comfortably hung out for a few hours. His visit was a highlight of that otherwise tedious time. Rest In Peace, Johnny Rupert!
