Kathleen Novak Obituary

Kathleen A. Novak (nee Ryan), 77 years old, of Elyria, died on Monday, December 31, 2012 at EMH Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Novak was born on September 17, 1935 in Elyria and lived here all of her life.
She was a graduate of Elyria District Catholic High School with the first graduating class in 1953. She was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting and sewing.
She is survived by one daughter, Tammy Welch, of Elyria; one son, Michael Novak (Sharon), of Grafton; two granddaughters, Meghan Novak and Elizabeth Baker (Dane); and one grandson, Brennan Novak. Also surviving are one sister, Elizabeth Mitchell of Elyria; and one brother James Novak, of Biloxi, Mississippi.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Novak in 2006.
Friends will be received at the Reichlin Roberts Funeral Home, 327 Cleveland Street, Elyria, Ohio on Thursday, January 3, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. Closing prayers will be on Friday, January 4, 2013 in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. followed by mass at St. Jude Catholic Church, 590 Poplar Street, Elyria, Ohio at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Father Frank P. Kosem, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Elyria, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 10501 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio.
