Kenneth Meske Obituary
He was born May 4, 1941 in Lorain and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 14 years moving from North Ridgeville.
Ken was a veteran of the US Air Force.
He started his 48 year career with BF Goodrich which became Noveon and then Lubrizol, retiring in March of this year. After retirement, Ken worked part time at NAPA, Vermilion.
He enjoyed traveling, cars, and photography. He also enjoyed going to Saab Conventions and drinking craft ale. He loved being social and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Barbara (nee Taylor) Meske of Vermilion; sons, Kevin (Melissa) Meske of Charles Town, WV and Jerry (Katie) O'Brien of North Ridgeville; grandchildren: Matthew (Melissa) Meske, Hannah Wilkins, Jeremy Shipley, and Reid Mustain; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Keith Meske of Columbus; and friends, Joe and Jami Sexton, Willy Meier, and numerous other close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mildred (nee Rose) Meske and daughter, Kathy Wilkins.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Ken's life on Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 1-3 pm at the Vermilion VFW, 7576 Poorman Rd., Vermilion, OH.
The family suggests memorial contributions to American Diabetes Association Memorial & Honor Program, PO Box 2680, North Canton, OH 44720 or the American Heart Association Northwest Ohio, 1701 Woodlands Drive, Suite 200, Maumee, OH 43537.

We still miss you so very much. It's hard to imagine that it has been 3 years already since you left us. You are still a constant voice in our thoughts and in our actions. We wish you could be here, to experience our the home we bought this past fall with us, and just to keep building upon a lifetime of love and of wonderful memories. Thank you Dad, for everything. For raising the man of my dreams, for accepting me into your family so readily, for making it easy for me and my children to be loved and to love back. I got to know Ken many years ago through my Dad as they worked at Goodrich together. I always enjoyef being around Ken as he was always happy, kind, friendly and generous in sharing what he had. I could tell many a funny story of Ken when we rode dirt bikes at my uncles or on our trips to West Virginia. I regret that I hadn't seen Ken for years as we had moved away. I wish i But he was in my thoughts a lot. He will be missed.
