Kimberly Russert Obituary

Kimberly "Kim" R. Russert (nee Carroll), age 60 and a resident of Vermilion, passed away at Mercy New Life Hospice on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 after a long illness.Kim was born in Lorain, December 29, 1962 to the late Howard L. Carroll and Virginia A. (nee Cummings) Sexton. Kim was retired from the Ford Motor Company where she had been employed for 25 years on the automobile assemblyline, working first at the Lorain Assembly Plant and finishing her career with Ford at their Kentucky plant. Kim enjoyed crafts and sewing, and repurposing old furniture.Survivors include her four grandchildren; Justin, Breanna, Kinny Man, and Camren, her mother Virginia Sexton of Vermilion, and brothers Mark Day of Norwalk, Frank Day of Vermilion, and Randy Carroll of Vermilion.She was preceded in death by her daughter Melissa Russert, her father Howard Carroll, and her brother Grundy Carroll.Family will receive friends at the Andras Crematory & Funeral Home, 3900Broadway Avenue, Lorain on Friday, December 15, 2023 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

I'm so sorry to just learn of Kim passing. Camren, when she told me about her illness her only wish was to see you graduate. She was so proud of you. She loves all her grandkids. We last talked in the fall and she was still hopeful. My grandkids still ask about her all the time. Please reach out to me if you would like.
