Lauralee Pincura Obituary

Lorain: Lauralee Pincura (nee Petersen), 75, of Lorain, died Monday January 4, 2021 at Mercy Health in Lorain after a short illness.She was born October 7, 1945 in Avon, grew up in Avon and had resided in Lorain most of her life.Lauralee worked with her family at the Petersen Greenhouse in Avon for over 20 years. She also had worked at Ridge Tool in Elyria in accounts receivable for 13 years and at the Holiday Inn in Elyria for 10 years in payroll.She was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lorain. She loved spending time with her granddaughter Kassie and shopping.She is survived by her son Scott Pincura of Lorain, grandson William Pincura and granddaughter Kassandra Pincura. She was preceded in death by her son James M. Pincura, parents Edmund & Wilda Petersen (nee Morgan) and brother Roger Alan Petersen.No services are planned at this time. A memorial service will be held at a later date and announced.Memorial contributions can be made to Mercy New Life Hospice, 3500 Kolbe Rd, Lorain, OH. 44053.Arrangements are under the direction of the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave, Lorain.Online condolences can be made at www.gluvna.net

Laurie. . .
Our kids were practically raised together. You were my close friend for many many years and even after I moved to UTah, we spoke several times.
Scott. . .my deepest condolences to you. . .you and Jimmy and Robin grew up so close and I thought your pain was done with Jimmy’s passing but I never thought your mom would cross over at a relatively young age for these times. I think of all my memories with you and your brother and mom and I know my life would have been so much smaller without you guys in it. Much love to you and your sweet daughter.

My condolences to the Pincura family. I grew up across the street from the Petersens and knew Lauralee and was childhood friends with her brother Roger and also worked for Mr. Petersen at the greenhouse.
