Michael Thomas Maloney

Michael Thomas Maloney, 28 of Avon passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 31, 2022. He was born to parents Lawrence and Sharon (nee Golematis) Maloney on November 13, 1993.Michael turned his love of the gym and working out into a successful career as a personal trainer in the Boston area. He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns, the Cavaliers and Ohio State Football. His passion growing up was basketball with very fond memories of playing for Avon High School. He enjoyed playing cards, games, corn hole and bowling. Michael was very talented at drawing and was excellent at doing impersonations of just about anyone. He had a very kind heart with a soft spot for dogs, loved making people laugh and had a smile that lit up a room. He was a very loyal friend and loved his family very much. He is survived by his beloved parents Lawrence and Sharon (nee Golematis) Maloney; loving sister Katie Workman (Chad); grandparents Carolyn and Thomas Golematis and the late Dorothy and George Maloney; cherished fiancé Tricia Abbott; nephew of Karen (nee Golematis) Hess (Drew), Susan (nee Maloney) Burich (Ken), Virginia (nee Maloney) Hawes (Brad) and the late John Maloney; cousin of many.
