February 16, 1928 - October 9, 2021Michael Trbovich, residing in Sandusky, passed away Saturday afternoon, October 9, 2021 at Admiral's Pointe Nursing & Rehabilitation Center following a brief illness.Michael was born in Lorain, OH to the late John and Mildred (Stipanovich) Trbovich. Mike graduated from Lorain High School and received his bachelors degree from Bowling Green State University. He also took some post graduate courses. Mike retired from Ford Motor Company after several years of service. In his younger years, Mike was a baseball scout for the San Francisco Giants and the Los Angeles Dodgers, and continued scouting throughout his retirement. Mike enjoyed all sports, but especially baseball and was inducted into the Lorain Sports Hall of Fame. He also enjoyed spending time with his wife, Mary Ann and day to day happy living.Mike is survived by his wife, Mary Ann (Daly) Trbovich. He is also survived by his 3 sisters, Smilla Matich of Pittsburgh, Helen Trbovich and Anita Trbovich both of Lorain and nieces, Melanie Walsh and Saundra Veseleny.In addition to his parents, Mike is preceded in death by his 2 brothers, Nicholas and George Trbovich.Private funeral services will be held at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Deacon Phil Dinovo will officiate.
