Richard Foisy Obituary
Born in Lorain on February 25, 1958, Rick was a graduate of Lorain High School
He was a wonderful caregiver to his father Steve Patrlja, and was also known for his love of doing good deeds for others including his Lorain neighbors and Pelee Island friends. Rick's main joy in life was traveling to Pelee with his late uncle Ed Matyi and his aunt Dorothy Matyi. He also deeply loved his nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews providing encouragement to each one of them. He will always be remembered for these words that he shared: "Be good, be rotten, but be somebody".
Rick is survived by his father Steve Patrlja; sister Dana Ebinger; brother Stephen Patrlja; aunts Dorothy Matyi and Mill Johns; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother Joan Patrlja; grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.

When we heard about Rick`s sudden passing we were very saddened. He was a kind soul. Friday night boat rides to Pelee won`t be the same without him.
