The Matyi Family,

Lynn and I are so sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs.Matyi. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family as they cope with the loss of someone so special. We pray the Lord will give you peace in your time of sorrow. Mrs. Matyi lived across the street from my parents on 37th in Lorain, Ohio. I remember the many times Mrs.Matyi brought dinner over for me and my four younger brothers when my mother was in the hospital when we were children.

Rest in peace - you are among the angels now.

Carol, Lois, and Bobby Joe,
Our prayers are with you. We are so sorry to hear about Aunt Ruth. She is now in heaven with my mom Shirley and my dad Chuck and, of course, with Uncle Al. I hope they are all dancing a Hungarian Czardas with the angels. My mom always kept in touch with Ruth and talked to us about her frequently. May she rest in peace. Love, Your cousins in Michigan - Mary Beth, Janet, Mike, Dave and James (Katkic).

Carol, my deepest sympathy on your loss. Your mom always talked highly of you whenever I had visited her in Bradenton. You always did the best for her. She was a special lady. Helen and I had many good times with her. These are the memories we will cherish. May she rest in peace with your father.

To the entire Matyi family. I knew Mrs. Matyi since 1955, and she was more than a neighbor. My children called her "Grandma Matyi", and Mr. Matyi was called "Grandpa". She was one of the many devoted parents on 37th Street, and she kept an interest in the children that grew up in that neighborhood. Mr. and Mrs. Matyi were as decent as two people can get. Nothing pleased her more than to cook something for someone, and watch them enjoy it. God Bless you Grandma and Grandpa Matyi, and we'll all see each other again.

As far back as my memories of 37th St go, the Mayti clan and Ruthie were there from the beginning. I especially remember working with her at Hill's Dept Store in hardware & Sporting Goods. My deepest condolences to all on the loss of your Mom/Grandmother. Think of her as attending a family reunion where she has been reunited with your Dad. You all will be in our prayers.....Ron

We have lost both a neighbor and a friend with Ruth's passing. We were fortunate enough to become her neighbor and have enjoyed her friendship and company the past 13+ years She was a devoted and attentive wife in her care of "Al", was a confidant to Barb, a beloved "Gramma Ruth" to Maggie and could always be counted on for a smile, laugh and plate of "crepes". Until she moved south we never missed receiving a nut torte for our Anniversary each October, most often she would let herself in and leave it on the table while we were out... We lucked out having come to know you and will greatly miss you. God Bless you Ruth!
