Ryan Woodrum Obituary

WELLINGTON – Ryan Thomas Woodrum, 21 years of age, and a resident of Wellington, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 following an traffic accident that occurred on his way to work.
He was born June 4, 1989 in Oberlin, Ohio. Ryan was a lifetime resident of Camden Township and graduated from Firelands High School in 2007. Ryan earned a degree at Ohio Technical College as a power sports mechanic. He was employed as a motorcycle mechanic and in customer service at Cycles R Us in Chippewa Lake. Ryan was a motorcycle enthusiast, he loved working and modifying them. He was preparing to open his own shop called Pure Adrenaline Motor Sports. He was a member of Camden Baptist Church. Ryan loved spending time with his family and friends, he especially loved the time he spent with his nephew and nieces Anna, Ben, and Mariah.
Ryan leaves to cherish his memory his parents James and Margie A. Woodrum (nee: Brotherton) of Camden Township; his brothers and their wives Adam and Amanda, Chad and Rachael Woodrum; his sister and her husband Jill and Brett Davis; his paternal grandparents James and Marian Woodrum all of Camden Township and his maternal grandmother Phyllis Brotherton of Vermilion.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, George Brotherton on July 24, 2010.
Friends may call Friday May 27, 2011 from 2 -4 and 6-9 p.m. and Saturday, May 28, 2011 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 at the Camden Baptist Church; 17901 State Route 511, Wellington. The Rev. Larry Nocella, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Camden Cemetery, Camden Township.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made any First Merit Bank; c/o Ryan Woodrum Memorial Fund.

Ryan was always finding some way to help me out, whether it was lending me money for a couple weeks to buy something, or doing whatever he could to help me get ready to ride the next weekend, he was always willing to help, and whenever i would get frustated his humor always helped.
