Vivian Davies Obituary

ELYRIA – Vivian L. Davies (née LuKacik), 92, of Elyria, passed through the 'Gates of Splendor' on Friday, February 12, 2016, after a period of declining health.
Survivors include her daughters, Doreen (David) Gingrich of Bryson City, NC, Debbie of Lorain; son, Roger (Bobbi) of Avon Lake; grandchildren, Julianne (Tony) Clay of Alsip, IL, Matthew (Jennifer) of Naperville, IL, Michelle (Kevin) Phillips of Whittier, NC, David Horton of Austin, TX, Michael (Joanne) Horton of Cleveland; great-grandchildren, Kara, Noah, Allyson, Lukas and Mae; sister, June Carlson of Prosper, TX; and cousins, Elza Satterfield of Lorain, Mary Lou Williams of Amherst and Mary Mollohan of Vermilion.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David M Davies in 1971, her parents, Louis and Pansy (née Holloway) LuKacik in 1983 and brothers Louis John in 1923 and Carl Edward in 1927.
A family gathering of remembrance was held Wednesday, February 17. Interment at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
