William Gordon Obituary
William Benjamin Gordon, age 32, of Lorain, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 20, 2013.
He was born on Saturday, December 27, 1980 in Lorain, OH and was a lifelong residence. He attended Lorain City Schools and graduated from Admiral King High School in 2000. As a student he played on the school's basketball and football teams. He also attended Kent State University where he studied electronics, media and sociology.
William enjoyed being around his family, playing basketball, watching movies and sports, and playing video games.
He will be sadly missed by his parents, Kenneth R. Sr. and JoAnn Gordon, of Lorain; a brother, Kenneth Gordon Jr. of Buffalo N.Y. (Gina of Elyria); two sisters, Teressa of Beltsville MD and Summer Mensah of Gaithersburg MD (Meshach of Ghana Africa); a maternal grandmother, A. Mary Wilson of Lorain; a paternal grandfather, Ernest D. Gordon Sr. of Cleveland; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
William was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William Moore Sr.; maternal step-grandfather, Rodney Wilson; and paternal grandmother, Binnie Gordon.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, January 28, 2013 from 10 a.m. until time of service at Noon at Brown-Robinson Funeral Home, 2652 Broadway Ave, Lorain, OH 44052. Rev. Albert Pride, of Cleveland officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.

Will was like my third roommate in college. We were the only two from King to attend Kent so we spent alot of time together. I was the one that would bring him home with me when I came back for the weekend. He always looked out for me and questioned any guy giving me any attention like a protective big brother would :) We lost touch in the last few years and it brings me great sadness that we'll never have the chance to reconnect again. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. You raised a very respectful and polite young man.
