Willie Battle Obituary
She was a member of First Baptist Church for over 10 years. She was an avid bowler and loved bowling as well as going to bingo, playing card games and spending time with family and friends.
Willie Mae' memories will be cherished by her children: Cheryl Battle, Jordan Battle, Erica Battle, Demetrius Benjamin, Shavar Patrick, Demetrius Benjamin, Jr., brothers and sisters: Frances (Benny) Adams, Beverly Seymore, William (Maxine) Benjamin, Herman (Chrissy) Benjamin, Gail Benjamin and brother-in-law Ronnie Boykin and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents George and Lula Benjamin, brothers George, Jr. and Simpson Benjamin, sisters Sheila Johnson, Rosetta Benjamin, Theresa Boykin, daughter Sharvasia Patrick and granddaughter Michaela Battle.
Friends may call on Monday May 1st, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 noon in the First Baptist Church, 1510 Cooper Foster Park Rd. (Rt. 254), Lorain, OH 44052. Rev. Ernest Battle will officiate. Burial in Elmwood Cemetery.

I am so sorry to hear of Willie's passing. Having known her as a parent, mother and friend I can attest that she will be missed. She loved and cared for her children more than anything in the world. My condolences to her children, who were students of mine many years ago and to her siblings. May God embrace her and the angels lead her into paradise.
