Anita Goodman Obituary
She graduated from Pittsburg High School in 1939.
She married Henry (Hank) L. Goodman on October 26, 1940 at Our Lady of Lourdes in Pittsburg. He preceded her in death on October 23, 2011.
She is survived by three sons; Dennis Ed Goodman and friend Jackie Sample of Bryant, Arkansas, Henry L (Lee) Goodman II and Agnes of Franklin, Kansas, and Robert D. Goodman of Pittsburg, Kansas. She is also survived by grandchildren Bryan (Kim) Goodman, Jodi (Frank) Esposito, Bobby Tim (Terri) Goodman, Dennis Lee (Cristie) Goodman, Alisha (Travis) Wilson, Daniel (Kelli) Goodman and Courtney (Rowdy) Susnik and seventeen great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Edward Fleming and sisters Mary Roitz ad Rita Fleming and Rose Buchmann.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, September 15, 2017 at the Pittsburg Garden of Memories Cemetery with Father Floyd McKinney officiating. Rosary will be said at 1 p.m. Friday at the Bedene Funeral Home in Arma where the family will receive friends until 2 p.m. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice. The family will be at the home of Lee and Agnes Goodman at 108 S. Broadway at Franklin, Kansas.
Donations may be sent to or left at the Bedene Funeral Home, 517 E. Washington, Box 621, Arma, Kansas 66712.
