Lawrence Adam Turner

Lawrence Adam Turner, 38 of Pittsburg, KS died at 4:30pm, Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg.

He was born January 30, 1975 in San Francisco, CA the son of Rex Turner and Barbara (McMillen) Patton. He attended and graduated from Wellington High School.

Larry moved to Pittsburg in 1997.

On September 8, 2007 he was united in marriage to Pam Hovey in Pittsburg; she survives him of the home.

Larry worked for Pitsco Manufacturing as a furniture maker and installer.

He attended the Family Life Assembly of God Church in Pittsburg and was an avid Bowler involved with several league teams.
Additional survivors include five children Jordyne Turner of Wellington, KS, Miri Gordon, Kenneth Turner, Mireesa Gordon and Breanna Turner all of Pittsburg, Parents Rex Turner and Barbara Patton, a sister Rachel Brusky of Wellington, KS.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Roy and Goldie Turner and his maternal grandparents Kenneth and Barbara McMillen.

Memorial services will be 2 pm, Saturday, November 2, 2013 at the FLAG Church on N. Rouse with Pastor Mark Lehman officiating. Family will receive friends at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home on Friday evening November 1st from 5pm – 7pm.
