Frontenac - Teresa "Terry" Ellen Christiansen, 68, of Frontenac, died at 10:22 a.m., Saturday, January 9, 2021 in the Via Christi Village in Pittsburg
Teresa was born July 19, 1952 in Girard. A daughter of Lyle E. and Celia E. (Nicholson) Gladson. She grew up and attended school in Girard.
Teresa worked as a legal secretary in law offices and for the Crawford County Attorney in Girard before retiring in 2017.
She married Carl "Eddie" Christiansen on September 22, 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Eddie survives of the home.
Teresa was a member of the First Christian Church in Girard and she enjoyed family gatherings, being with her friends, fishing, softball, tennis, bowling, and cooking.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, Eddie, of the home, are a brother, John Gladson, of Girard, a sister, Donna Townsend, and her husband, James, of Lenexa, numerous nieces and nephews.
Teresa was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Tom Gladson; a sister, Gloria Cerne.
Social distancing and face masks will be required for the Memorial services at 2:00 p.m., Saturday at the Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Girard with Reverend Renee' Goodwin officiating. The family will receive friends following the services.
Friends may call after 2:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home in Girard.
Memorials are suggested to the First Christian Church or the SEK Humane Society and these may be left at the Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home, 518 W St. John, Box 258, Girard, 66743.

My condolences to Terry's family and friends. To her husband, Eddie, my heart goes out for his infinite pain in the loss of his wife.
To think of Terry is to remember the kindness, generosity and concern for others that characterized her life. Her pretty blonde looks, unique laugh and upbeat attitude were always there to behold.
Beneath was a bright and capable mind and a very big heart all of which will leave some pretty sweet memories.

OMG....I am so saddened by hearing this sad news. I can only smile when I think of Terry. In high school Terry, Karen Peak and I were BEST FRIENDS. Many memories, all good!!! I loved her and always will. God bless her.
