Tim Lundberg Obituary
He was born December 21, 1962 at Waynesville, Missouri, the son of William "Bill" D. and Linda Carol (Griggs) Lundberg. He graduated from Pittsburg High School and then from Pittsburg State University in 1985.
On March 3, 1990, he was united in marriage to Rhonda Slaughter at Pittsburg. She survives at the family home.
Mr. Lundberg worked as the Human Resource Director for The Flesh Company in Parsons, Watco, Ward Kraft and Hix Corporation.
Membership was held in St. John Lutheran Church and the Rollin' Nostalgia Car Club. He was also a certified flight instructor and loved flying, fishing, working on vintage cars and mostly spending time with his family. He wanted it to be known, he was a "Proud Patriot", believing in God, Family and Country.
In addition to his wife, Rhonda, he is survived by four daughters, Ashley Parsons and her husband, Clint of Pittsburg, Kayla Lundberg (Jody Streeter) of Pittsburg, Laura Lundberg and Lindsey Lundberg, both of the home; two brothers, Dan Lundberg and his wife, Kristi of Pittsburg and Andrew Lundberg of Dallas, Texas; and three grandchildren, Gage Parsons, Lexie Parsons, and Percephany Lundberg; and two nieces Molly and Sarah Lundberg.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday (Aug. 20) at the Brenner Mortuary with Pastor Tom Werhman officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m.until service Monday at the funeral home. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday to sign the register. Following the services, Mr. Lundberg will be taken for cremation. Burial will take place at a later date in the Mt. Olive Cemetery. The family suggests memorials be given to the American Kidney Association. These may be left at or mailed to the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS. Friends may leave condolences online at www.brennermortuary.com. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, Pittsburg, KS.
