Gordon R. McClintock, 67, of Morris, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021 at his home.
Born September 5, 1954 in Joliet, he was the son of Merle and Deloris (Lee) McClintock. He graduated from Morris High School with the class of 1972. He married Terry Enger on November 29, 1980 at the Plattville Lutheran Church. For all of their married life they farmed in the Morris area.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Terry; his children, Jacob (Kristen Kuzanek) McClintock of Yorkville, Kristy (Mark) Kline of Morris and Tiffany Her of Lancaster, MA; five grandchildren, Brett , Emily, and Nicholas Russell, Braeden Olson and Bailey (Kyle) Pike; one brother, Wayne (Carla)McClintock of Morris; three sisters, Cheryle (Dale) Wills of Morris , Bev (Al) Parker of Morris and Lori (Jeff) Kaldheim of Morris; several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one sister, Elaine McClintock.
He was a member of the Plattville Lutheran Church.
Gordon enjoyed all of his many years farming, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association or to the family for a charity of their choice.
Gordon requested that family and friends dress casual for his funeral service.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 3, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at the Fruland Funeral Home, 121 W. Jefferson St. in Morris with Rev. Bret L. Reedy officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Private inurnment will be held at the Plattville Cemetery at a later date.
