Elaine M. Robinson

1933 - 2022

Elaine M. Robinson, 88-year-old resident of Crystal, MN, formerly of Buckman, MN, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Meadow Ponds Assisted Living in Pierz, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, April 4, 2022 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Buckman, MN, with Fr. Kenneth Popp officiating. Burial will take place in St. Michael's Parish Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church. Caring for Elaine and her family is the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Pierz, MN.

Elaine Marie Robinson was born on July 28, 1933 in Little Falls, MN to the late Victor and Clara (Gohl) Robinson. Elaine graduated from Little Falls High School in 1951. She eventually moved down to Minneapolis, MN and started working for Prudential Insurance, becoming a insurance underwriter. Elaine retired after 41 years of dedicated service in 1993.

She enjoyed family gatherings and playing cards, especially 500, and attending the monthly Prudential Retirement Club luncheon, where she could visit with her former coworkers. In her younger years, she enjoyed traveling with friends on trips around the United States. Elaine was a very caring person, offering to help others and ready to give advice.

Elaine is survived by her sisters, Mary Lou Waytashek of Pierz, MN, Lucy (John) Brooks of Tifton, GA; sister-in-law, Shirley Robinson of Robinsdale, MN and nieces and nephews.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Clara Robinson; brother, Gilbert Robinson; brother-in-law, Willy Waytashek.
