Maurice McKinley Obituary
Born on January 4, 1942, in Cannon Falls, Minnesota to Francis and Ruth (Nelson) McKinley. He graduated from Minnetonka High School in 1960. After high school, Maurice joined the Air Force for 7 years. Married Roseann Carlson in 1962 while in the Air Force. They raised their three children in Missouri, Kansas, California, Guam, Arizona and Minnesota. After the Air Force, Maurice worked as his own boss, owning his mortgage company in Arizona and a fence company in Minnesota. He enjoyed traveling be it in his Sesna 1950 and or multiple schoolies. He remarried in 2016 to Julie Dunning. They continued to travel and find and sell treasures.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, a granddaughter, his ex-wife Roseann and wife Julie.
He is survived by his sons Troy (Kjersti) McKinley and Kory (Julie) McKinley, and daughter Kaylyn McKinley; eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; and his four sisters and a brother.
Celebration of Life will be held at the 10-Spot Bar and Lounge located at 12 N Highway 10 in Royalton, MN on Saturday, May 3rd from 2pm - 5 pm. The family would like to thank St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls and the St. Cloud VA Hospice staff for all the care they provided to Maurice. Family will hold a private interment at a later date.

I knew Maurice for the last 15 years of his life. He was a terrific guy we got along spectacularly. It was always a blast when he would come in and we would talk laugh and joke. I will miss him terribly. Good by Maurice. Ron G.
