James Allen Robinson, age 60, passed away peaceful January 6th at his home in Simi Valley, California, after a long battle with cancer.
James (Jim) was born on May 1, 1953 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He was the son of Jasper F. Robinson and Edith M. Robinson late of Cardington. He attended Canoga Park High School in Canoga Park, California and graduated in 1971.
Jim was united in marriage to Bonnie Robinson also of Canoga Park, and they celebrated their 40th anniversary just before his passing. Jim was also a graduate Engineer of New Mexico State University and completed a career in the Space Shuttle Program at Rocketdyne located in Canoga Park.
Jim is survived by his wife Bonnie and 16-year-old son Kyle, both of Simi Valley, brother Leonard (of Cardington), as well as a large group of friends and extended family.
At Jim's request, in lieu of funeral services there will be a life celebration planned for later this year.
