My condolences to Karen's family and friends. I met Karen in a dog training class and her dog Rocky and my dog Storm became best of buds and Karen became a friend. We went on to take different types of dog training classes, such as scentworks, agility, and tracking, together over the years with our dogs. She was an easy going person and her love of animals was evident. We chatted often when she was in the process of rescuing Mama Dog and her pup and she amazed me with her care for a stray dog that everybody else ignored and persistence in making sure the dog knew a home and love in her lifetime and that the pups found good homes. I am glad that I got the chance to know her and proud that I was able to call her a friend. Rest easy my friend. Troy and the rest of Karen's family, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
