Mark Langoehr Obituary

Mark S. Langoehr, 32, formerly of Johnsville, Ohio passed away at his home in Hopedale, Ohio.

He had been fighting a battle with leukemia and on June 22, 2013, he won. With his wife Sasha by his side, he was gently carried home to be with his Lord and Savior.

He was born August 26, 1980 in Galion to the late Carolyn M. (Langoehr) Stevens, deceased Feb. 14, 2000. Also preceding him in death is the late Carl A. Langoehr, whom he thought of as a father.

He married Sasha (Blythe) Langoehr on May 3, 2007, who resides in Hopedale with their two daughters, Maizy Rae, 7, and Carolyn Amethyst Marie, 4. Mark also has a daughter Maykayla Marie Kuhn, 12, of Galion.

Surviving is his sister, Charme (Langoehr) Carroll, her husband Robert and their four children, Kaysie with fiance Lindsie and daughter Alexa, Alex, Zach and Karlee; his maternal grandmother Evelyn Langoehr of Galion; two uncles, Karl (Barb) Langoehr of Delaware and Richard (Tammi) Langoehr of Galion; two aunts, Ida (Brian) Queen of Mt. Gilead and Betty Langoehr of Galion, and many cousins; his father and mother-in-law Pastor Dean and Bessie Blythe of Hopedale; and one brother-in-law, Keith Blythe.
Mark also had many half brothers, sisters and cousins too numerous to mention but not forgotten.

Mark was a long-time resident of Morrow COunty and the Northmor School area. While grieving the death of his mother in 2000, he left the area and moved south to Hopedale, Ohio. There he became heavily involved with showing others how to catfish and hunt most anything. He took many groups of men to the best hunting and fishing areas that Hopedale had to offer. He loved the great outdoors and wished to share that with his children, of whom he loved very much.

It was that love for them that led him to another responsibility. He knew that he must show them that school and education was very important. So, he studied and received his G.E.D. He also decided that God needed to be not only part of their lives but his also. Mark was saved and baptized in February of 2008 at the Hopedale Church of Christ,

Although his days have been short, he knew that when his life ended he would join his Savior and walk the streets of gold with his mom and grandfather.

Memorial services for Mark will be held at North Woodbury Alliance Church, 6385 State Route 314, Mt. Gilead on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 6 p.m.
