J. David Keller
Canandaigua - J. David Keller, age 63, passed away after a long illness, on Saturday, July 3, 2021, with his family by his side. He is survived by his wife, Pamela (Proper) Keller; mother, Gloria Keller; two sisters, Debra Ferguson and Amy Keller Siepert; four nieces, Kisha, Maureen, Zoe and Hannah; two nephews, Michael and Brandon; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jean and Stanley "Stosh" Proper; brother-in-law, Brian Proper; and sister-in-law, Deborah (Mitch) Dean. He was predeceased by his father, James D. Keller in 1987.
David was born in Canandaigua, attended Canandaigua schools and was a graduate of Canandaigua Academy, class of 1975. He earned a bachelor's degree from Dickinson College and a master's degree from American University. David worked as a teacher at Wayne Finger Lakes BOCES. He was a member of the Canandaigua Moose Club and a life member of Winged Pheasant Golf Club. David was an avid golfer and had five "hole in ones". He was a long time Buffalo Bills fan.
Friends may call Sunday, July 11, from 2-5 pm, at Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home, Inc., 47 N. Main St., Canandaigua. His memorial service will be held Monday, July 12, at 11 am, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to F.F. Thompson Foundation for the Sands Cancer Center, 350 Parrish St., Canandaigua, NY 14424.
