Dear Debra, John, Jessica and family,
I just heard last night about Jared while I was in Walmart's and I was so shocked. Jonathan and I ran into Jared sometime in January after the holidays at Eastview Mall and we had a wonderful conversation with him. He told us about his illness and he talked about taking courses and his dreams of dating and marrying and starting a family, etc. He was so upbeat and positive and happy.
I told Jonathan about Jared at Walmart's and he had to immediately leave the store. He cried all the way back home. Jonathan still talks about Zach. Jonathan was saying recently that he wanted to hang out with Jared occasionally. Jared was such a great young man. I fell in love with Jared when he took swimming lessons as a little boy at about age 3. I thought he was the cutest little boy. Jonathan and I just want to say how sorry we are and Jared will be truly missed. I know he's with Zach and I know Fred is looking out for both of them.
Sadly,
Barb and Jonathan

John, Debbie, Jessie, Dan, and Zack, I still can't believe the good Lord took Jared so soon! It is never easy to lose a loved one, no matter how full or happy their lives may have been! May God richly bless you and comfort you in this most precious loss! I will never forget the memories that we had, swimming, cub scouts, fishing with gummy worms, and life in general! I will miss that guy terribly! He was such a gentle soul, and now he is in the arms of God! My prayers are with you!

It has been many years since I lived across the street from your family in Naples, but your family is remembered as one that loved our Lord...may He comfort you all at this difficult time, as only He is able to do.
