Joseph Vierhile Obituary

Joseph Vierhile Loving son and brother Joseph Benjamin Vierhile, 40, of Carmel, Ind., passed away Sunday, Sept. 15, 2008. Joe was born Aug. 5, 1968 to Robert and Lois (Benjamin) Vierhile in Canandaigua. He was with Eli Lilly & Co. Credit Union for the last two years. Previously, he was with Merrill Lynch Co. for 10 years, as a stock broker, and with O'Brien Automotive Group for four years. Joe was a member of Financial Planning Association of Greater Indianapolis, a certified financial planner (CFP), chartered retirement planning counselor (CRPC), accredited investment fiduciary (AIF) and accredited retirement plan consultant (ARPC). He graduated magnum cum laude from the University Of Notre Dame in 1990 and was a member of Indianapolis Alumni Club. He was also a member of Meridian Hills Country Club. Joe was the husband of Charleen O'Brien Vierhile; and the proud father of Benjamin, Ryan and Josie Vierhile. Other survivors include his mother, Lois Benjamin Vierhile; sister, Lisa (Dave) Vierhile Rhein; and two brothers; Thomas (Amy) and Andrew (Carrie) Vierhile. His father predeceased him. Family and friends will gather today (Wednesday) from 4 to 8 p.m. at Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel, 740 E. 86th Street, Indianapolis Ind. His funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, September 18, at 11:30 am at St. Luke Catholic Church, 7575 Holiday Drive East, Indianapolis, Ind., of which he was a member.
