Margaret Larter Obituary

Margaret S. Larter Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother CANANDAIGUA - Margaret S. (Settle) Larter, 89, gently passed away on Friday, Nov. 5, 2010. Margaret was born on Sept. 16, 1921 in Billings, Mont. and was the daughter of John and Viola (Coles) Settle. She worked for many years as a medical secretary at Canandaigua Medical Group. Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Harris N. Larter; and granddaughter, Kelly M. Yarger. She is survived by her sons, John Alan (Mary Sue) and Bruce; daughter, Alison (Chuck) Yarger; four grandchildren, Melissa (Matt), Jessica (Alan), Jason (Beth) and Elizabeth; and two great-grandchildren, Logan and Zoe. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held at Bristol Springs Free Church at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret's memory may be made to Benincasa Hospice House, 2880 Rush-Mendon Road, Mendon, NY 14506; or Bristol Springs Free Church, 6481 Naples-Bristol Springs Road, Naples, NY 14512. Arrangements are by Baird-Moore Funeral Home, Naples.
