Robert L. Bleier Sr. World War II U.S. Army veteran Robert L. "Big Bob" Bleier Sr., 81, of Shortsville, died Jan. 19, 2009 at Geneva Living Center. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Rose Bleier; three sons, Fred (Patty) Church, David (Tammy) Bleier Sr. and Robert (Michele) Bleier; four daughters, Tracy Kraft, Roxanne (Larry) Jones, Susan (Thomas) King and Marcy Defisher; beloved pet, Molly; four stepchildren, Linda, Donette, John Jr. and Christopher Imperatore; one brother, Jack Bleier; one uncle, Jimmy (Mary) Bleier; one brother-in-law, Harry T. (Glenda) Zobel; several nieces and nephews; 27 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Lewis and Agnes Bleier; and loving wife of 30 years, Florence Zobel Church Bleier. Mr. Bleier was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of Turner Schrader American Legion Post 34 of Shortsville. Friends may call Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. at Sainsbury Funeral Home, 78 W. Main St., Shortsville. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Dominic Church, 6 Canandaigua St., Shortsville.
