I am stunned and saddened to learn of Roger's passing. We were associates at 98th Division, USAR and NYSDOT, sharing a common interest in supporting the American Red Cross and amateur radio. My condolences to the Kessler family. We will all miss him.

Roger was my co-worker at the NYS Dept. of Transportation. He was a kind and pleasant man to work with. He was proud of his wife Donna and a loving father to his kids.

Sgt Kessler and I were members of the Admin Battalion, 4th Brigade while LTC Richard O'Connor was in charge. He was an excellent soldier who helped the unit's instructors earn very good ratings.

I am absolutely speechless right now! I looked at this page to find someone else that we worked with...and shocked beyond words when my heart sank seeing Roger! He was a kind man who ive enjoyed many conversations with that were extremely meaningful to me! Everytime I Give blood, I will think of him and all the good he brought to others!
