Son of Robert and Ruth Drumm of Keuka Park, New York, entered heaven on Jan. 18, 2021, leaving behind his loving wife, Diane; and five children, son, Robert (Rebecca), daughter, Kourtney Drumm, son, Kevin (Lindsay) Drumm, son, Parker (Sarah Beth) Drumm and daughter, Karley Drumm; brothers, Jim Drumm and Bill (Gina) Drumm; sisters, Kathy (Graham) Hone and Karen Drumm; step-children, Heather (Peter) Knapp and Nathan (Katarina) Robson; 13 grandchildren; and 8 nieces and nephews.
Steve's childhood was filled with happy and mischievous experiences while growing up on Keuka Lake. He enjoyed water skiing, sailing, downhill skiing and tennis for most of his life.
Steve was a 1968 graduate of Penn Yan Academy; and a 1972 graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology, where he majored in Business. Following graduation, he entered the business world, working early-on with his father, selling financial products for the NY Life Insurance Company. There he enjoyed a long and successful career. He and his wife also enjoyed hosting the "Pleasant View Bed & Breakfast", a venture short-lived, however, due to illness.
Sadly, Steve began to show symptoms of Alzheimer's disease in his early 50's. After years of declining health, he resided at Penn Yan Manor Nursing Facility, where after five years he succumbed to the Covid-19 Virus. Steve' love for his family, positive demeanor and a great sense of humor will always be remembered. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held during the summer.
Steve's wife and family extend their deepest appreciation and gratitude to the friends and staff at Penn Yan Manor for providing excellent care and making life palatable during difficult days.
