Wayne James Mcmahon

Wayne James Mcmahon MANCHESTER - Wayne J. McMahon, 74, died on December 11, 2013, at Clifton Springs Hospital. Wayne was born July 31, 1939, in Rochester, the son of Ernest and Elsie McMahon. He was a resident of Manchester for many years. Wayne worked as a custodian for the Pal-Mac School District, where he was known as "Two Speed." Wayne enjoyed CB radioing and his CB handle was "Jack Rabbit." He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Janet McMahon; son, Dwayne McMahon; daughter, Tammi (Brian) Myers; grandsons, Thomas and Jacob Myers; great-granddaughter, Arianna Myers; brother, Ronald McMahon; sister, Marion McMahon; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, four sisters, and two brothers. Friends may call on Saturday, December 14, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Halsted-Patrick Funeral Home, 19 N. Main St., Manchester. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Lighthouse Baptist Church, 1000 S. Main St., Newark, with a reception to follow.
