Anthony Joseph Cirulli

MANCHESTER - Anthony J. Cirulli, of Manchester, NY, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2026.

Anthony, affectionately known as Tony, was born on April 20, 1939, in Manchester, N.Y., the son of the late Amore and Lucy (DelGotto) Cirulli. He was married for over 30 years to Frances (Richardson) Cirulli, formerly of Topeka, KS, with whom he raised two daughters, Francella and Dawn. He later shared a devoted and loving relationship for 27 years with Glenda VanTreese of Wellsville, N.Y.

Tony graduated from Red Jacket High School in 1958 and earned his Machinist Diploma from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1962. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1962 to 1966. Following his military service, Tony worked for Xerox Corporation for 36 years before retiring. Never one to sit still, he continued working during his retirement at Chase-Pitkin, where he enjoyed staying active..

A man deeply dedicated to his family and community, Tony was a faithful member of St. Dominic's Catholic Church and volunteered with the Manchester Fire Department for 35 years. He was also an active member of the American Legion for 50 years, serving in numerous leadership roles and committees for Post 34, Ontario County, the 7th District, and at the Department level as Vice Commander. He served as a delegate to more than 20 State Conventions and six National Conventions.

Most recently, Tony resided at the Jewish Home of Rochester, where he was deeply loved and compassionately cared for by both staff and fellow residents.

Anthony is survived by his daughters, Francella (Jeff) Smith and Dawn (James) Mancini; his partner, Glenda VanTreese; grandchildren, Rachel (Josh) Tynan, Madeline Smith, and Dominic (Aakriti) Mancini; his great-granddaughter, Aisling Tynan; and his brothers, Richard (Sharry) Cirulli and Robert (Paula) Cirulli.

Family and friends are invited to call from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Halsted-Patrick Funeral Home, 19 North Main Street, Manchester, N.Y. 14504.

Tony's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 16, 2026, at St. Dominic Church, 97 West Main Street, Shortsville, N.Y. 14548. Burial will follow in St. Rose Cemetery, where full military honors will be rendered.
