Canandaigua – Marlene (Turner) Raeman Wade, age 88, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, with her family by her side. She is survived by four children, Kathleen Schutt, Patricia (James) Kimble, Brian (Pam) Raeman and Richard "Rick" (Carol) Raeman; daughter-in-law, Michelle Raeman; five step-children and their families; 14 grandchildren, Dena, Andrea (Sean), Katy (Steve), Alison (Dan), Connor (Meg), Jamie (Dave), Corrine (Brian), Trevor (Kate), Andrew (Alicia), Erin (Travis), Emily (Colin), Anna (Ashton), Sarah and Bryce; 18 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husbands, Richard C. Raeman in 1965 and Lloyd E. Wade in 2021; and son, Robert Raeman in 2018.
Marlene was born in Canandaigua and was the daughter of Howard and Edith (Rubens) Turner. She was a graduate of Red Jacket High School. Marlene earned a national certification for respiratory therapy. She retired from Clifton Springs Hospital and Clinic after many years there as a respiratory therapist. Marlene was a member of St. Mary's Church and a former member of St. Dominic Church.
She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Marlene loved her many dog companions throughout the years. She will be remembered as a friendly, caring people-person.
Friends may call Friday, March 7, from 4-7 pm, at Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home, Inc., 47 N. Main St., Canandaigua. Her memorial mass will be celebrated Saturday, March 8, at 11 am, at St. Mary's Church, 95 N. Main St., Canandaigua. Interment will be in St. Rose Cemetery, Shortsville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ontario Co. Humane Society, 2976 Co. Rd. 48, Canandaigua, NY 14424. Condolences may be offered at www.johnsonkennedy.com.
