Bonnie Robertson Obituary

Bonnie Ann Robertson
09/26/1953 - 10/05/2025
Bonnie Ann (Woodruff) Robertson passed away on Sunday October 5, 2025, at the age of 72.
She was born on September 26, 1953, in Midland, Texas to JB and Lorene Woodruff. She married the love of her life, Willis LaGene Robertson, on June 10, 1972, in Midland, Texas. Together they shared 52 years of marriage full of love and incredible devotion. Bonnie had an immense amount of love for her family and always chose to be a mother who showed unconditional love to her children. Bonnie always tried to make those who came into her life feel welcome and accepted, ready to lend a listening ear and a shoulder to lean on. Bonnie was full of love, care, and wisdom along with a healthy amount of wit, practicality and humor. She leaned on faith and a good laugh throughout her life and passed that perspective onto her children, helping them to see blessings in disguise and to have a faith like hers. She was a hard-working woman who diligently carried out whatever she started. She enjoyed gardening for many years and loved to sit outside at night watching the stars with family. She had a great appreciation for history, culture, and the unknown and would happily spend hours discussing things she had learned with family. Bonnie shared many adventures with LaGene throughout the years and missed him deeply after his passing in April of 2025. She was a devoted, faithful follower of Christ and left this world with the peace of knowing she would be welcomed into her new heavenly home. She was the heart of her family, and she will be dearly missed.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband Willis LaGene Robertson, son Billie Bob
Robertson, and stepson Norman Lynn Robertson.
She is survived by her daughter Keelee Robertson, stepson Randall Robertson and his wife Sherry; sisters Terrie Rhodes and Pat Conner; brothers Tom Woodruff and Joel Woodruff; parents JB and Lorene Woodruff; grandchildren Kraeger and Kimber; step-grandchildren Rhett and Shea.
The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday, October 10th, at Willowbrook Funeral Home, 1311 W. Florida Ave. Midland, Texas.
A celebration of Bonnie's life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 11th, at Cotton Flat Baptist Church, 6409 South State Hwy 349, Midland, Texas with Pastor Rick Holeman officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Midland Baptist Crisis Center, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or the Wounded Warrior Project in Bonnie's honor.
