Catherine Estelle Marshall

Catherine Estelle Marshall, 80, went home to be with the Lord Monday, December 11, 2017. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Bellview Baptist Church, 1710 N. Big Spring, Midland, TX. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Beth Haven Cemetery in Lingleville, Texas. Services are under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home. Estelle was born on June 16, 1937 to Emma and J.T. Ely in Gorman, Texas. She had many friends, and touched people everywhere she went. She was an inspiration to those who knew her. Estelle will be missed, but now she is with her family and friends who have gone before her. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.T. and Emma Ely; three siblings, Thomas Lee, Frankie and Johnny Ely; one granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren. Estelle is survived by her husband of 21 years, George Bill Marshall; four children and their spouses, Cathy and Gerry Cannon of Weatherford, Texas, and Brent and Julie Carroll, Jeffrey Ford and Michael and Paula Ford all of Midland, Texas; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; one sister, Barbara and Buck Bradford of Mertzon, Texas; and by one brother, L.D. and Sue Ely of San Angelo.
