Cecilia Vargas, 36, died Sunday, September 4, 2022 in Odessa, Texas. Cecy was born November 22, 1985 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Martin and Irene Macias. Cecelia loved to hear music, sing, travel, shop and enjoyed being with her loved ones having a good time. Cecilia married George Vargas on June 13 of 2013. The two were each other's lifelong companion and friend. They were blessed with a baby boy, Brayden Anthony Vargas. Cecilia loved to do many things with her family like go on trips, sight see, go to the lake to be on the water, bowling, ride ATV's, horseback ride with her husband, dance in her kitchen with her husband and son and many other things. Cecy is survived by her husband, George Vargas of Midland, Texas; daughters, Daneah and Presley from Trinidad, Colorado; son, Brayden Vargas of Midland, Texas; brother, Juan Macias and wife Nicole of Odessa, Texas, their three children, Gavin, Liam and Briley; sister, Marlet Macias of Pueblo, Colorado; parents, Martin and Irene Macias. Cecilia will always be remembered for her larger than life smile that lightened up any room she walked into, her loving touch and the love she felt for her husband and kids. A viewing will be held from 12:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home, and Sunday, September 11, 2022 the viewing will take place from 8:00am- 9:00 PM, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, September 12, 2022 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
