Christopher Webb Obituary

Friends and family of Christopher Lee Webb are invited to a special Memorial Service to celebrate his life at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at the Voice of Victory Church, 1001 S. Main, in Midland. Christopher passed away suddenly Monday, Dec. 10, and will be missed by all his family and friends. Please join his family in a special remembrance occasion. Christopher Lee has made such an impact on so many lives, it is virtually impossible to narrow this down to a few. What words can be used to describe such an amazing man? He was such a supportive friend to anyone; he was devoted to and would be there in a heartbeat if you called. His warm smile is pure sunshine in everyone's heart. He would have left you breathless with his love for you. His nephews and nieces adored him; his sisters looked up to him for his strength and advice. He was his momma's heart and his father's pride and joy. He was the man you'd hope your son would grow up to be and the husband you wanted your daughter to have. Every kid and animal were instantly attached to him. He came with the whole package. He was the best house guest! Anyone who had him in their home knew he was there, you could feel his presence, with his helping soul. From doing dishes, laundry, cooking, or just to help you decorate, he was always there to lend the hand to help you. He enjoyed being that person. He was passionate about music. You will hear from his friends, all the fun memories he had going to concerts and how he loved putting together his music collection. He loved his Satellite Radio, in his new car, the best. He would always just go for long rides and listen to the music, to calm his thoughts. He was passionate in everything he set out to do, and even more so about his family. He talked of his family to any ear that would listen and would drop what he was doing, to lend an ear for advice or just to chat. He ended his time spent with you, with his warm embraces and kisses, every time. Those bear hugs will be missed. Chris is survived by his mother, Debbie Freeman; father, Graham Webb; step-father, Butch Freeman; and step-mother, Kathy Manus; as well as his grandparents, Tommie and Ray Wooten. He leaves behind his sisters and their families, Ashley Cardenas, Michelle Abraham, Melissa Patterson, Polly Gowan; and the 12 nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his uncles, Leslie Wooten and Ray Wooten; as well as his aunt, Veda Smith. Numerous others will also miss him, such as his former wife, DeAnna Webb and his best friend, Candance Lopez. In lieu of flowers, contributories may be made to the Midland Animal Control, 1200 N. Fairgrounds, Midland, TX. 79705. 432/ 685-7420.

When Chris and I was just leaving home and starting out on our own, we realized how hard it was to have our own life and still be in the ones we loved lives. I had just lost a dear friend who was only 22 years old. As I poured out my heart to Chris, he listened thru all my tears and came up with this solution.

"If you love someone, tell them every time you see them. That way if something happens to you or them, the last thing you ever said to them was that you loved them. They or you will always have that last memory to forever live with when there is a passing."

Such simple words yet so true. Who would have known he would be the next young person in my life to pass.

We made a pack that night to do our best to let the ones we love know it. I can honestly say that from that day forward we both have lived our lives from this simple lesson.

I love you Christopher, always and forever.

This was one of the most beautiful and true obituaries I have ever read. Fitting, since Chris was one of the most beautiful souls to ever grace our earth. He will be missed by all. God speed, Christopher.

Graham and Family,

My heart is breaking with you at this time...even though I had not yet gotten to meet Chris...I felt like I already knew him through his Father (Graham) who spoke with such love and admiration for his son. I am truly sorry for your loss and my thoughts and prayers are with your family. God most certainly has a very special Angel is his midst now. Bless you all.
