Clara Adams Obituary

Clara B. Adams, 93, of Midland, died on Thursday, December 29, 2005, at the Hospice House Facility in Odessa. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Chapel with Pastor Bob Miller of Dominion Outreach Ministry Center, officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home of Ruthie and Wayne Burchett.

She was born on October 1, 1912, in Union Co., New Mexico and married Eddie W. Adams on January 30, 1930 in Clayton, New Mexico. He preceded her in death on December 16, 1965.

She was a cook for MISD, Teen Challenge, First Baptist, and Camp Musky. Clara's family was her focus. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Survivors include one daughter & son-in-law, Ruthie & Wayne Burchett of Midland; one daughter-in-law, JoAnn Holland of Guyman, Oklahoma, thirteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by two daughters; Dorothy Baker and Betty Sue Adams; one son, James E. Adams, a grandson, Eddie L. Baker; a granddaughter, Paula Baker and four brothers and three sisters.

The family suggests memorials be made to Home Hospice or the Hospice House Facility, 901 W. Missouri, Midland, TX 79701.
