Her second marriage was to Dempsey Rosser. Dempsey was a devout member of Mt. Rose Baptist Church and Claudia joined him there. They both worked faithfully for many years. Dempsey preceded her in death.

Claudia had no children of her own but became "Mother" to nieces and nephews at the loss of her sister, Allie Mae Goodley.

She leaves to mourn her passing, three sisters, Lillian Jones of Houston, Texas, Johnnie Parker of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Marion (Johnny) Stowers of Houston, Texas; one brother, Rev. Lawrence (Ella) Bacy of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and relatives and a very special friend, Jeri Hubbard.
