Diana Redden Wright went to her heavenly home on June 6, 2023. Her family and friends take comfort in the assurances that though she is absent in the body, she is present with the Lord Jesus Christ. Diana was born on April 21, 1960, in Woodward, OK to Duaine and Nancy Redden. Her dad worked for Western Company, an oil company in West Texas. The family moved around about every two to three years due to her father's job. Cities included Enid OK, Pampa TX, Farmington NM, Hobbs NM, Midland TX, and finally settling in Graham TX. It was in Graham where Diana graduated from high school. She spent a year at North Texas State University in Denton and then attended real estate school in New Mexico and obtained her real estate license. Diana gave birth to her one and only son - and love of her life - Gentry Callan Wright on February 26, 1992, in Midland. Diana and Gentry moved from Midland to Horseshoe Bay in 2000 where she began her real estate career in the Hill Country. After a short period of developing contacts and making friends, Diana met Art Snell and joined his real estate company. Diana and Art were very close and upon his preparation for retirement, Diana purchased the company known as Horseshoe Bay One Real Estate. Diana later joined forces with Broker, Ted Burget, who also became a dear friend and business partner. Together Diana and Ted built a very successful real estate business. In 2020, Horseshoe Bay One Real Estate merged with Gillean and Associates to form Horseshoe Bay One Realty. Today they are 28 real estate agents strong with a marked presence in our area. Diana was extremely successful not only in real estate but in life, making many friends and a beautiful life for she and Gentry in the Horseshoe Bay community. Diana had a passion for life, her family, and most of all Gentry. She loved being on any body of water, on her boat, travelling, and especially playing cards. Her happiness was derived from entertaining and making other people happy. She never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anyone. Diana was truly blessed with numerous friendships and her kindness and huge heart overflowed to everyone. We all knew her laugh and that alone made you laugh; it was so contagious. You hardly saw Diana without her beloved dog, Shiner. He was her best companion, and loved her like only Shiner could, unconditionally. She is preceded in death by: Father, Gillus Duaine Redden, buried in Graham in 1981; Mother: Nancy Alice Kuhns Redden (Cobb) of Horseshoe Bay, buried in Graham in September 2018.
