Please accept our condolences on the passing of Don. He and his family were neighbors of my family and I for a number of years near Chenoa, IL. Don had quite a sense of humor that I remember well.

My condolences to the entire family. Don and I had some great experiences as friends,brothers-in-law and as co-workers. He was a big man with a mean streak (A little humor)but a gentle and compassionate demeanor. He gave me a job when I got discharged from the military and that was what got me started in the work force.
Even though I have not seen Don in several years, he will be missed.

Daddy, you will be missed terribly, but I know I will meet you again one day when I have the pleasure of bowing in front of God and starting eternal life. Just know that you were my hero and I have nothing but total respect for you. Thank you for teaching me the morals, ethics, and values that every person should teach their children. Know that I taught my children the same. I love you daddy!

Just to let you know we are thinking of each of you during this very difficult time. As I reflect on my memories of my Uncle Don, I remember a quiet, strong man. He asked for so little, lived life to the fullest, and loved in a very private way. May you be comforted during this time and know that many are thinking of you. Love, Eric, Bev (Farrow), Tyler, & Erica Ester
